1. Service Overview
Savvy Social Website Rentals provides website rental services on a monthly basis. This includes website design, hosting, domain management, email setup, maintenance, updates, and technical support over a 24-month term.
All websites remain the property of Savvy Social unless the client chooses to purchase the website through a buy-out option.

 

2. Agreement Term
All agreements run for a minimum period of 24 months from the website go-live date.
At the end of this period, the client may continue with the service, request a redesign or reskin, upgrade their package, or renegotiate their agreement.

 

3. Monthly Payments
All fees are billed monthly in advance.
Failure to make payment may result in temporary suspension of the website, email services, or hosting. Continued non-payment may lead to full termination of services.

 

4. Included Services
The monthly fee includes website hosting, domain management, domain registration (up to R150, subject to availability), website maintenance, software updates, minor content updates, security monitoring, and technical support.
Any work beyond the agreed package scope may be quoted and billed separately.

 

5. Website Ownership
During the rental period, the website remains the property of Savvy Social.
The client has the option to purchase the website at a pre-agreed buy-out price either after go-live or upon cancellation. Once purchased, full ownership and access will be transferred.

 

6. Cancellation Policy
A minimum non-cancellable period of 12 months applies from the website go-live date.
If the client cancels within the first 12 months, the remaining balance of that period becomes immediately due.
After the initial 12 months, the client may cancel at any time with one calendar month’s written notice at no additional cost.
If cancellation occurs after 12 months but before the end of the 24-month term, the client may either proceed with the buy-out option or allow the website and associated services to be removed after the notice period.

 

7. Website Buy-Out Option
The buy-out amount will be agreed upon at the time the website goes live.
Once paid, the client will receive the website files, database, and applicable design assets, along with full ownership rights.
Ongoing hosting, updates, and support will then become the client’s responsibility unless a new agreement is arranged.

 

8. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to provide accurate and complete content and confirms that they have the rights to use all submitted materials, including text, images, and logos.
Savvy Social is not responsible for any legal or copyright issues related to client-provided content.

 

9. Changes and Revisions
Minor content updates are included within the monthly plan.
Any major design changes, structural updates, or additional features may be quoted separately.

 

10. Support
Support is provided during standard business hours unless otherwise agreed.
Urgent or after-hours support may be subject to additional charges.

 

11. Limitation of Liability
Savvy Social is not liable for any loss of business, revenue, or data resulting from website downtime, third-party service failures, security breaches beyond reasonable control, or misuse of the website by the client.

 

12. Intellectual Property
All design work, code, and systems remain the intellectual property of Savvy Social unless ownership is transferred through the buy-out option.

 

13. Termination by Provider
Savvy Social reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if payments are overdue, the website is used for unlawful purposes, or the client breaches these terms.

 

14. Amendments to Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

 

15. Content Updates and Software Support Limits
Content updates and software support are included according to the monthly time allowance specified in the client’s selected package.
If the monthly allowance is exceeded, additional requests may either be carried over to the following month or completed at an agreed hourly rate.
Any additional work will only proceed with client approval.

 

16. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging Savvy Social Website Rentals, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
